Shockwave

Shockwave therapy, also known as extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT), is a ground-breaking, cost-effective treatment supported by clinical evidence for alleviating tendon pain, commonly referred to as tendinitis or tendinopathy, as well as various other conditions affecting the body.

The term "extracorporeal" indicates that this therapy operates externally to the body.

The primary advantages of shockwave therapy include significant pain relief and the restoration of function. This treatment has proven effective for a range of prevalent tendon issues, including plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, and tennis elbow.

Shockwave therapy used by me and my team is a safe, non-invasive solution backed by substantial research and clinical trials demonstrating its efficacy. Numerous randomised, double-blinded clinical studies have validated the use of shockwave therapy for conditions such as plantar fasciitis, lateral epicondylitis, and calcific tendinitis of the shoulder.
